MEDWEL LAUNCHES NEW VERSION MEDICAL GRADE 10.1 INCH PANEL PC DESIGNED WITH FREESCALE™ i.MX6 FAMILY
MEDWEL, Inc., a leading medical IT solution company, announced the launch of a new version MEDS-P1000, the new MEDS-P1000 is 10.1″ panel PC with Freescale™ i.MX6 Family, Quad core processor mainly for the application of bedside healthcare infotainment terminal in hospital and medical equipment HMI(Human Machine Interface). MEDS-P1000 is equipped with peripheral including RFID, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth mainly for the nurse, doctor or patients’ family to check patients’ information and also served as a HMI to be integrated with medical equipment.
The MEDS-P1000 bedside terminal feature Android 6.0, projected capacitive multi-touch screen and extensive connectivity for communication and peripheral devices. The terminal design can simply let medical personnel download and view medical information and data.
The compact MEDS-P1000 panel PC present DDR3 up to 2GB memory and equipped with 8GB eMMC; one HDMI; 2x USB ports and one COM port for RS-232 on rear I/O. Moreover, its compact design 262(W) x 180(H) x 38(D) mm, plus low power consumption with effective computing make MEDS-P1000 a perfect solution for application in HMI and bedside terminal.
The MEDWEL MEDS-P1000 delivers better and faster performance than its first generation, yet it operates with thermal design power (TDP) under 40W for fanless applications and also supports front panel Anti-disinfectant wiping.
The MEDWEL MEDS-P1000 comply UL/EN 60601-1 certification for medical device safety regulation. When installed in the control panel the front face of the plastic housing has a protection rating of IP65. It is easy to clean and sterilize, also reduce the maintenance requirement and cross-contamination concerns.
